thats interesting... how much does this realy help? or is it just for looks?

LOL ... No, it's not just for looks. LOL It is basically a fireproof barrier for those of us running a tubular manifold in which the heat coming off the manifold can be brutally hot to say the least. This would cover the upper radiator hose and keep it from being baked by the reflective heat given off by the manifold.;)
 
99gst_racer used the DEI stuff a few years ago. Looks better than the orange stuff IMO.
