anybody done this before? looking for help on it, I am using a wedge engineering adapter sparco rails and sparco side mount brackets. it all doesnt really bolt up the seat it pretty damn wide and needs to site taller than the mounts. the passenger side was easy but I only had to mount a torino!

did a search but turned up a few things that, but a few people had the same questions, and they were left hanging.

thanks,
Josh

guess I wil try again.

I have a sparco EVO 2 seat, for the adapter I bought a wedge engineering bracket for the 90-92 GSX it fits fine both the pass. and driver sides. here is where the problem is the EVO 2 seat is a side mount seat and is significantly wider than the stock seat so it needs to sit higher than the wedge engineering adapter is. so I got sparco slider rails to get some height and adjustibilty but that doesnt solve my problems. the wedge engineering adapter needs to be quite a bit wider and sit at an angle and be taller to work.

as far as the passenger side goes everything bolted right up because the torino I have for the passenger side is as wide as the stock seat, all I had to do is bolt the sliders to wedge engineering adpater then the slider to the seat then bolt the whole package down.

I know some people have the evo 2 seats unless they are lying in their mod lists. I just need to know how they mounted em.

I still don't get it. All side mounting Sparco seats have a 290 mm side mounting width. This width is the same for all their seats.

I don't understand why the Evo2 seat needs to sit higher just because it's wider? To sit higher just mount it on the higher holes in the side mounts.
