2g talons with black headlight housings?

hey yall..i was wondering if anyone has taken out their headlights and painted the chrome housing (i think thats what youd call it) all black? to make it look like the (forgot the year of 2g) eclipse's? can anyone hook me up with some pics, maybe? thanks! i think itd look pretty good on my car...wanna know for sure before i do anything, tho

97-99 are the years with black housings.

I did it and it looks great. Makes the car look a lot better, and a little meaner. Sorry I don't have any pics, but I would suggest doing it.
Also if you do it make sure you take out that amber piece.

I like mine chrome, but thats because my car is silver. If I was red like you, I would paint them black. Get it sprayed professionally at a shop, so it doesnt get faded.

hey meef, im going to do it to my 1G talon, when ever i do mine and got all the paint, ill call you up and maybe we can do ours together, i painted my hood, fenders with rattle can primer and base coat and some rattler can clear-coat and it looks good as hell......
