For the dude here who was wondering whether it was possible to convert the interior to black, well I've started doing it, although not entirely black but the lower half of it and including the trunk plastic pieces

Looks good, I'd like to see the final pics of that when finshed. What kind of paint are you using?

pylox, I think its an acrylic paint, its like $2.50 a can, I;ve used up 5 already to paint the trunk, the center console, all the lower interior trimmings

That's what i'm going to do as well..My interior is mostly all black from the fatcory. The damn hatch area is grey..>8(

Did you get the paint from your local auto parts store?

What brand is it? That how my other panels look in shine.

got it from true value:thumb:

the color I got is flat black, its kinda shiny because of the flash but otherwise, its pretty flat, I had to sand it first and wash it to make sure it ain't greasy, although I'm doing this for an upcoming car show an want to hide the arious scratches on the plastic:laugh: I try to make it durable by putting multiple coats, so far i've tried scratching it with my fingers and nothing happend

look at my interior and it was completly died
it was all gray
now look aT

it took 2 weeks but everything got done perfessionally
the front windsheild had to come off to do the dash board
very happy with results
ciao

I plan on doing the same interior this summer when school gets out. Everything is going black carpet, trim everything.. should look good. Let me know the results when your finished

I'm decided on black because it will go well with any color seat I put which I'm still debating whether red or blue. So far no chipping on the aircon vents, HVAC center thingy for 2 years since i painted it, hope this one lasts quite a bit. not bad considering all it cost me are 5 paint cans

Hey Mitsu2nv how much did that whole redo cost. All I want to get dyed is the top half of my dash, and I want it black, any idea how much that would cost from a pro. I want that cuz the top half of my interior is black thoughout the car, my dad is a paint guy so me and him are gonna paint the bottom trim pieces and crap the color of my car, to give it a custom look. Let me know the price you paided and maybe what I can expect to pay just for the dash.

dang none, yet, shipped the car tot he intercooler guy today, all I got is the entire lower trim spread out n my garage floor, it'll be a month and a half befoer I get it back:cry:
