2g Rally Armor mud flaps

after i did my AWD conversion i started looking for a set of the stock 2g mud flaps to complete the AWD look but came up empty handed. my good evo buddy had been running a set of rally armor mudflaps for about a year and he loved them, and of course i like the way they looked too. he decided to part out his evo and the first thing i told him was to hold onto those rally armors because i want to see if i could get them to fit on my 2g.
well guess what, it was A LOT easier than i thought and they look sick... besides the look it gives the car, you'd be surprised at how much crap ive heard in just the last few days flying up into them. better the mud flaps than the nice paint job!

actually the fronts bolted right up, I just needed longer bolts to account for the thickness of the flap. the rears I had to modify the splash shield a bit and use a bolt,nut, and washer... It took about 45 minutes to do the install and that included the trip to home depot right down the street from me.

if you go to rally armors website they have a "universal" mud flap so they'll probably just refer you to it. i really don't think these cars are in the market for these things even though they look great! good luck though, that would be amazing if they designed one for 1g/2g dsm's.

There's a 2g in the parking lot of my school with the stocker mudflaps. He doesn't take that great care of the car so he'd probably sell them to me cheap...hmmmm.

Sorry But I dont even like red on the 1gs that much at least they had some black to balance it out. But the 2g Red Paint code seems to be brighter, and then there is the bright red tail light bar across the back and can't tell you how many times I have seen bright red rims on red 2gs.

It's enough red to make me wanna barf.

no offense taken man, i understand what your saying about the red. its like me hating those orange 350Z's because of the ONE that i saw the other day. orange wheels, orange lug nuts, orange car, windows tinted orange... and it was a drop top and the guy driving it was damn near 50.

new... i got mine off my friend parting out his evo for $60. they really do save the paint too, i couldn't believe how much crap i heard flying into them just driving down the interstate.

Very solid. I see you got your rims back on, what springs did you get to lift it back up? I am looking to order some within the next month, probably the Eibach Prokit since the sportlines(?) you had were really low. I guess I'll see you Sunday if nothing chanes, just lemme know what time or I'll text you saturday. I got my car back after the fire. Replaced the rediator and the valve cover gasket, bad oil leak so now I have to get the engine degreased and have the turbo cooling hoses changed but its running great.

rims are back on, ones bent from the drive to fontana to race on sunday. i lifted it back up using the prokit springs... good springs btw. sunday funday and the earlier the better! like EARLY EARLY! good thing the cars running now...

get some rally armor flaps and i can mod them to fit on your 2g!

Yeah I think what made me hate Red Eclipses was one I saw that had the orange z syndrom.

Red Car, Cherry Red Spray on tint for the tails, Red Window Tint, Red Underglows, Red License Plate neon. Red Rims. I would bet everything under his hood was red too. Either that or dirty as ####.

its OEM sorano red, if you really want the paint code i can run out and look at my door jam. i love my 760's, definitely don't have any traction problems at the track! actually its been just the opposite, the tires are so grippy im bogging coming out of the hole I NEED MORE POWER!

you should def. get a set of the flaps, easy to install and protect from rocks very well. wish i would have gotten them a LONG time ago.

i like the color of the car being red but just the car being red it attracts enough attention, sometimes bad from the local authorities. everything under the hood is matte black like the rims, i even had my FMIC anodized black so the dumb po po think its a radiator. gotta keep it as stock looking as possible under the hood...
