ok so thanks to everyone helping me make my decision on the car. can anyone take a picture of a rear facing car seat in their spyder? preferably one without a permanent base. it would be greatly appreciated.

ooh, that may be tough, man. i had a rear facing seat in my awd coupe and it didnt sit in there quite how i wanted it to because of how straight up the back of the back seat is. i dont know how safely a child seat is going to fit in a spyder. sorry man.

well if it and three people can fit in a firebird im sure it possible in a spyder

Due to the way the back seat is designed a rear facing car seat will most likely never fit properly in the back of your car. Even forward facing car seats sometimes tend to tilt to one side or the other due to the nice little butt compartments as I call them. You can have one back there but It will require extra attention on your part while driving to make sure your child is safe. Hence the reason I bought a Lancer as well for the wife. Of course I always have my VR4 if I need to go get some groceries with the little guy. On a more serious note... keep your little one safe and do what you think is best for him/her. If I had a back seat in my Talon any more I would get you some pics of our car seat, but I don't have a back seat anymore.

^^^same here. id snap some pics, but i no longer have a baby seat, and on top of that, my spyder is stripped down for paint... so no interior.

me and my old lady are planning on making a mount in my 1g for the seat, since I have no interior. but our baby is also going to get a jegs seat.

thanks to everyone willing to do it but without their interior . unfortunately i found out the spyder is an auto so i most likely will be changing my mind back to the rs after i talk him down on the price thanks everyone
