I want Rays/Volk TE37s 18 x 8 but they are sooooooo expesive, somthing like 600 a pop, is there a company that makes replicas?

Ya but they sure aren't the quality or weight of volks.

well true, but at this point i cant offord raving wheels and they sure do look nice, what companies make nock offs?

tenzo has the zt-6, which is pretty cool, wheel max does have a lot of wheels but not ones that look like the te37s the 5zigen fireball is the closest... hmm, mabey ill just go back to ol rota... but slipstreems are 5 spoke, they still look good i guess

yeah they are, the volks, they are forged and super light, they are the same wheels used on many of the jgtc touring cars... actualy the "fox 2" and adr "gt" are very similar and dont cost that much... I have a black car, you think i should just get white rims, or have them powercoated black to match?

i wish i had them too. i saw them in white on a stock 99 gsx once. looked amazing.

I don't know if its available there but rota makes copies of the TE37 here in the philippines, available in 15s and 16s, complete with stickers, but its not lightweight. Lenso has TE37 replicas too, even the dark blue ones

hey sids, are you talking about "rota grids"? i have only seen those in 15" Lenso ehh? Ill have to check that out

and guedo512... is your car black, i guess white rims on a balck car look good after all

yes my car is black, but my rims are silver. the verdicts in white have silver center caps and dont look so good. if i get new rims though, it will be the volks.

hmm yeah i found the power racing replicas... look good, man though its true that rotas cost a boatload over the others, i think the 18x8.5s i was looking at are 659 a pop... well i think ill get the adr gt sports in white, onky 1500 for a wheel and tire package on wheelmax

rotas are expensive there?!?!?!??! gee a set of 15s here is like $300, 17s are around $500, heck what can I say, made in the philippines :D

the Lenso 18s that I say here are around $900 a set of 4

again... i didnt mean rotas... rotas are soooooo inexpensive...

man thanks for the pic... sooooo intense, i cant wait till money comes my way, it looks beutiful...

i think i have found my replicas.... they dont look exactly like te37 but i like them as much

and oh man for 18"s with 235/40s ---> $1450

well its six spokes too, but the real TE37s spokes don't taper and are fatter.Geez them damn volk copies are in every civic here in white, black, silver, bronze and gunmetal. same goes for the EVO regamaster wheels, the ones that rota calls slip streams, its a direct copy of the spoon sw288 wheel

yeah and those spoon wheels are expensive as anything. they arnt worth the risk of daily driving.

hehe want some insider info on wheels?

Almost all of them are made in taiwan, flip through SCC or superstreet, look at the ads for wheels like wheel max, look close and you can spot several wheels which look the same but are carried by different companies, like the racing hart M5. Most big name japanese wheels are made in taiwan.

the new volk CE28s are also made there, it is exact in everyway except that it doens't say rays engineering on the outer rim but lightness, strength, looks, is the same banana.

Arospeed wheels are made in taiwan, SSR, Volk, 5zigen, and almost all the other racing sport wheels.

the best part is, we get them here at almost half of what it costs there :D

Volk makes great wheels, but if i could do it all over again, i would have just bought a less expensive set of wheels, the price i paid was 2 much...... great wheel, awesome build quality, 2 expensive.......(for me at least)
