100% custom, check out your local car stereo shop, maybe bring that pic, they should be able to help. I'm guessing it's just a custom fiberglass mold sprayed with sparkley silver paint and then clearcoated a couple times to make it look gel-ish.

The only downside I can think of with that set-up is the CD player is more likely to skip if mounted at an angle like that. And how do you use the Climate Controls?

yea but i just used the pic as a reference, im planning on getting that design but just to mold my console that way keeping my AC and head unit in place

and a bunch of money...fiberglass is not cheap...adn would reccommend taking out your whole dash so you dont ruin the car when you glass.....we did it to my VW....the door panels were glassed blue it was phat

No way, you could do that ultra cheap assuming you do it yourself. Fiberglass is cheap, labor is expensive. In that pic the heater controls are most likely just moved into the glovebox. I would do what was suggested earlier go to a stereo place with that pic and talk it over with a fabricator. If they want a butt-load to build it attempt it yourself, its not hard.

The local autoparts store, marine shop, hobby shop, etc. Not hard to find. Build a mold first, then lay the glass on that. I've seen someone use the huge sheets of pink construction foam as the mold, carving the shape he wanted then laying the glass.

that is 99silver missles car, his car was sold to a guy in my town, the ac controls are in the glovebox now, he all had that professionally done by a fiberglass shop, looks great, very show car like, you should se it in person

alrite i got the fabric and all those glues, now any recommendations of what type of paint(s) i should use? im gonna go silver though to match my head unit
