Speaker install

How do you get the speaker covers off in a 1993 talon. I tried but didn't want to break anything so quit. Also what sizes are the fronts and backs. One more thing is there 4 or 6 speakers.

are you trying to get the back speakers in or the front? Sizes are 6&1/2 in the front and should be 6x9's in the back soo a total of four

The covers don't come off, you remove the entire panel.

Seems to depend on which stereo system is in the car. You could find 5.25" in the doors and 6x9" in the rear. Or you could find 6.5's in the rear and 6.5's in the door, or nothing in the door and just dash speakers.

One more thing is there 4 or 6 speakers.

Again depends on the stereo. There are locations of speakers in the dash, doors, and rear seat sides. If you have door and dash speakers then they are wired in parallel with both speakers being 8 ohm drivers and 4 ohm drivers in the rear.
