IMHO the rear looks horrible with those taillights....

The stockers would look so much better. They would help wrap around that big ass instead of making it look like an overweight jerry springer guest:thumb:

I like the kit, except for the rear. Supra tails are sooo over done. Besides, would you get a set of supra tails with the kit? Probably not. If the kit came to be used with Supra tails and you couldn't find any, why should you have to mod the kit to use factory? Just MHO.

its rediculous looking.

also i was under the impression that when using wheels with a gross offest like what would be needed for that kit, that the wheel bearings take a huge beating and in some cases have failed?

I don't really care for widebody kits in general. Most of them look stupid as far as I am concerned. It looks out of place having the doors so much farther in from the side of the car. The only wide body kit that I really like is on a Red Celica that was in Modified Magazine. I can't remember who made it but it was a one of a kind.

yeah i dont much like it... any ic will not look right, and you loose area for other coolers... and tail like conversions = rice... i have respect for my stock tails its all aobut pride in the car i wish like real japanese companys (other than bomex ) made kits

Yes. The new in-look is the "fresh out of the body moulding shop" look. Nevermind the fact it's a prototype and is still being worked on.

I'm not much for the Supra tails, but otherwise I think it looks a hell of a lot better than the Qweeze widebody, or the Kaminari one. I heard there might be an option of the stock tails, but who knows... I'm going Bomex, so it doesn't really matter either way.

The only other companies that I can think of off hand that would be nice to have kits made for the Eclipse would be C-West, and AB Flug. Maybe Creative (EVO Tuners) or some Gracer stuff... I know there's a hell of a lot more Aero companies out there, but I don't feel like looking through all my links.

Veilside actually makes a DECENT looking kit for DSM's. It's even more expensive than the Bomex, but looks rather restrained, which is a lot considering how "flamboyant" Veilside's designs tend to be.

I personally don't think the kit looks too bad, and considering how it turns out, might actually get one depending one price, and how they want to take care of the door problem (how it juts out).

I was thinking the same thing. They are not going to keep the car like that.

I think they are going to keep it like that. Most of the wide body kits i've seen look like that.

I too wish some other Japanese companies would make body kits for the Eclipse. Like AB Flug, C-West, etc. As they have very nice lines and are not outrageos. This is one of the better wide body kits out there for the Eclipse though.

Something that came into my head was taking for example an AB Flug kit and putting it on the Eclipse. Customizing it to fit, will probably cost the same or less then to put this widebody kit on. But the only problem is I don't know which car would have similiar lines. I'm thinking the Supra, but does anyone else have any ideas?

The supra's a little longer. however, about the door problem, I was thinking of doing something like Veilside did for the MR2 Spyder, or like Black Widow did for their new WideBody CRX kit. You know what I'm talking about right? How they made wider panels for the doors? They could at least try to brink the kit back in a little more smoothly though, like the QuWhees kit did.

wow i didny know veilside made a kit... you might as well morgatge your haus to get an abflug... i mena the supra wide body kit is 14 grand.

there is certainly a difference between kits made by real tunign companyies and those that are made by small shops... cause most of those japanese companyies do real testing, anyway im just rambling cause i would only add aero parts that do stuff
