Are these titanium lips too much for a clean look?

Well I was looking for new wheels for my GSX. I was mainly looking for either a solid bronze/gold wheel, or a black/gun metal grey wheel with a red lip. As I was looking at wheelfire, I found these wheels with a titanium lip finish. It looks very unique and I really like them but I can't decide if they're too flashy/ too much for a clean look. my car is currently black but I may be repainting to a gloss white within the next year and I'd like to keep the same wheels, while still matching. What do you guys think of the titanium lip? which would you suggest if I keep the car black? how about if I repainted white?

I REALLY REALLY like these if I were to go repaint white, but do you think the matching white with the titanium would look good? or is just me? I can't decide :/

wheels look crazy but seen supra's pull them off and make them look bananas.
I say the ti 5 spoke in gunmetal or gold..

heh he asked what we would suggest, he gets it, you gotta know he gona get opinions. i my self like going for the stock look, plus i asked for pics of his car to kinda see what it would look like. i dont know what his car looks like. if he has some riced out body kit. or over exagerated hood j/k but id say gunmetal heh if you were dead set on picking one

My car is a stock 2gb body with a carbon fiber OEM style hood and a carbon fiber front lip. right now its the stock black, but like I said I will probably be going gloss white next spring/summer. Also please state what color car (the black or the white) you are suggesting the rims for, just to clarify for me. Also, 97 JDM GSX, I know these rims are gonna appeal to everybody because the oil slick titanium is gonna be either a love or hate affair, so i understand if you don't like em, it's all good I personally love the idea though, since everyone and their grandma has chrome lips... Its just the base rim color I can't decide on. I think the gun metal 7 spoke or gold 5 spoke if I keep it black. For the gold, I just cant decide if the titanium finish is too flashy with the gold. And If I were to go white Im almost dead set on the white rims, but may also go with the gun metal 7 spoke or 5 spoke. So, for black would you say the GM 7, or the gold 5? and for the white would you say GM 5, GM 7, or white 5? I'm not asking you guys to pick and buy my rims for me or anything, Just getting a general idea of the reactions I'm gonna get

hey i got an idea, buy all 3 sets, an we try them on each of our cars, since you got black an i have white . theres also a photo shop forum, that you can ask someone to photoshop some pics for you. if you like
