no the old guy pulled right out in front of me, and i didtn have ma seatblelt on either, i was only goin like 25 to 30 in a 35, so i was clear on that, but my insurance expired last week, and so im screwed with that and i just need somebody like around my area if they need some parts or even the car cuz it could totally be fixed if you know how or have the money to cut and reweld part of the frame, but yeah it was his fault for going out in front of me and i tried to swerve, and my brakes locked up and slamed my front drivers side into his rear drivers side wheel, and caused like 10k in damage to the truk that is only 1 year old

it was my fault for not having insurance on it, but it was his fault for pulling out into the intersection, er the road, he said that he looked to the left then right and just pulled out, and didnt even look to the left again, and i looked over at somebody on the side of the road for a split second, and bam, the cop even said that it was his fault but his insurance would contact me

His insurance will not contact you. Call the agent of the guy that pulled in front of you and file a claim. Even if you get a ticket for driving w/out ins, in this state the other guy is still at fault (It IS his fault right? he got a ticket?). You must contact. Oh, I want the parts car BTW.

acually no he didnt get a tick, but the cop said that he regrets not giving him one, and kinda sided with me, oh yeah, if you are interested in the parts get back to me on that

man, dont dont make the same mistake i did, keep the car until u sell as much s possible, believe me its worth the wait, when u sell parts, people will come and buy them.

Don't sell the car until the insurance company gets ahold of ya. I don't know about that state, but here if the car is totaled, the insurance company expects to get the car. Of course, they always give you the option of buying it back from them, which usually leaves you with $500 cash after all is said and done. The bull about the insurance not contacting you, I think that it just depends on the company. Six years ago I was driving down the highway going 60, some 17 yr old chick pulled out in front of me. She saw me coming and froze like a deer in headlights. She didn't hit the breaks and didn't hit the gas. If one or the other happened, I probably could have avoid her. My power steering line was busted, so when I slammed on the brakes my car jolted to the left. I let off the brakes tryied to steer around her while braking, she actually hit me in the passenger front tire. It creased my 86 Laser all the way down the car and broke the front axle. Her car spun three times in the middle of the road and lost the bumper, hood and both fenders. Nothing but an exposed engine and tires. I didn't have insurance at the time either. When the police came, they never asked me for it, just my license. Thank god for small town cops. The next day her insurance sompany called me, we haggled on the price of my car. Three days later I had a check in my hands and they got my baby. So if you don't here from them right away, then get ahold of them. BTW, sorry about the car man.

sorry that you lost your baby. My g/f totaled 2001 mirage last summer and i felt the lose. i can only imagine how i would feel if it was my eclipse
