Is it possible to open up 2g bumper lenses?

Toronto,
Has anybody opened up their 2g bumper lenses using the oven or heat gun method? Just from looking at them, they dont seem to have any sealant that keeps them together like the headlights do.

I tried cornoer on my eclipse and didn't work worth a sh1t.

Maybe its a snap fit or something. If somebody has an extra pair maybe they can take one for the team and figure out how to open them up ;)

Have one right here, looks like they're airplane-glued for keeps (not like the mastic in the headlight assemblies). Worse, seems there's about 1/8"-high rim on the inside that the outer lens comes down around, so removal would be dicey. However, if you took an X-acto razor saw, or the thin Dremel woodsaw blade, you could walk around the edge and remove it. More work than the $20 clears cost, though.
I was a bit shocked to find the lenses are made by Grote (big name in truck mirrors and signals), I keep forgetting these are American cars.
