17" gsx rim max tire size?

hello everyone. im in the market for new tires and have a few questions.

i have a 99 2g gst and i have the 17inch gsx wheels on it now with a 225 45 17 protenza re050 pole position tire. stock rim is a 45 offset i think.
i am gunna run a 3 mm or a 7 mm offset so it will sit flush with my fender. and im looking and wondering if a 245 45 17 would fit. or if i should just stick with a 235 45 17?
im sure its gunna rub a little when i make a tight turn. but i can deal with that
also im running sportline springs with agx struts
i guess my question is what do u all think i should do?

any luck on this?> i wanna run 245s on my 18s with a 2.5 inch drop... with no offset... Think they will fit?

mine rubbed but my were 245/45/18 i recommend 235/45/18 like i have now.. the back maybe fit but front rubbed bad.

so my stock gsx rim with a 7mm spacer will fit front and rear with being lowered little more then 2 inch

the tires won't rub with those spacers. Problem is you aren't getting that wide of a tire on those skinny 7" wide gsx wheels. Biggest I'd go on those is a 235.
