no more overlay gauges!!

Hey all,

My GST came with a damn led overlay kit on it. The led module has never worked since I got it, and decided to see if re-wiring it would help. Turns out either the module, controller, or wires are bad, and i'm just tired with it. I need my cluster gauge to ACTUALLY light up, so i can drive during night time.
I've looked at a few sites and found a stock instrument cluster for about 100 bucks... turns out they were out of stock. Is there anywhere i can find a 2g gauge cluster (without overlays) for a little cheaper? Do they make an aftermarket gauge cluster (not overlays) that has different colors?

Overlays are just that overlays. my daily driver came with em, so I just removed it.

You can do teh same. Open up the cluster and remove the overlays

Sorry, forgot to mention the genious was nice enough to super glue them in there.

Those overlays naturally come with adhesive. You sure its SUPERGLUE and not the usual adhesive they come with. Mine too had adhesive but it was easy enough to remove and clean the sticky residue with goo-gone or similar

No man, i'm sure its superglue, tried taking it off and no dice. not only is it superglue, but it seems like a whole tube of superglue . I'd really just like to find a cluster with blue lights, and no wire to tie in. I've googled after-market clusters til i'm blue in the face, and can't find anything except sites for stock clusters, and even they were sold out. i found one stock cluster on ebay, 120 shipped. Just was wondering if anyone could find one for cheaper, or knew of any aftermarket ones.
