2G 98 Rear spoiler on 95?

I have a 95 GST w/ stock spoiler...but what i want is a 95 GST w/ the 98 stock spoiler. Now i've seen this spoiler advertised in some mags as a "turbo spoiler" i think. But what i was wondering was if i get this spoiler what do i do about the spot in the center of my current spoiler...ya know, where it has the support that is against the hatch. I guess what im wondering is if it's actually bolted down at this center spot or if it's just touching...and if it's bolted then what do i do about the bolt holes left in my hatch after removing the stock spoiler??? it does bolt in the center of the trunk and the winglets on the sies have a lot of holes what I did on my spyder was just weld them shut

mark, do you have any pics of your spyder with the turbo spoiler?

right know I have a apr gt1 wing on the spyder but I have a carbon cwest wing on order

is the tubo spoiler like the stock 95 in the aspect of having the little pieces to that are on either side of the trunk or is it just one piece bolted to the trunk?

Also, if i wanted to just have them welded shut like you had yours then could i pretty much take it to a body shop and have them do it...and i assume it would look as if there had never been the holes to begin w/, right?
