sony xplodes

will the 6x9 sony xplodes fit in the back stock speaker places of my '96 RS. If so how far would they stick out?

I know they fit on the back of my AWD. Don't stick out at all.

Yeh I have a xplod 12" sub and I'm pretty sure I blew it...lasted about 5 monthes...so they don't blow THAT easy but to easy for my taste.

they will if you have the infinity system. if not then you need the brackets.

personally, i like audiobahn...but i use pioneer, they are cheaper, and to me, sound just about the same...i have pioneers all the way around in my car, except the head unit...

I had those 6x9 3way xplods, they suck IMO
dont expect any bass from them ,you cant turn the bass up on them or theyll sound like crap. I replaced them with Pioneers 3way speakers 2 days later. I have xplods in my door though, I like those. and i have sony tweeters where the dash speakers where

just my info, but i've got a Sony Xplod 52x4 head unit, 6 1/2" Sony Xplod door and rear speakers, Sony Xplod amp, and 2 Pioneer 12" subs and i havent had a problem at all with any of my equipment. been pushing em semi-hard for about a year and a half now. no problems what-so-ever. just my .02 though.
