i was thinking about getting new rims, and i want a racey style, and chrome, but not like bling bling chrome, more chrome racey style... maybe like chrome mr7's or something, but then i thought of something that would be more custom.... what if i chromed the stock wheels that i have? is this possible? i'd probably have it done in a shop to make sure its done right.
im thinking this would be as same as a valve cover but only difference would be that they are rims

do you guys think it would look right?

they are more silver than chrome, i think.
the ring around the outside of the rim, i want the whole rim to be like that... like reflective chrome.

All you should have to do is take the air plane stripper to them, then polish them. Or you could have them dipped. That would look damn cool though.

dude...looking at it and trying to picture it, i say go for it. if will definitely be different. i've kinda wondered about it myself in regards to how it would look. i bet it would look nice though, especially on your car.
