What are the paint codes for the 98 model year? Is there a sticker on the car that will tell me?

look under your hood. nexto your battery on teh fire wall. there is a silver sticker that says EXT TRIM
that is the paint code.

if your lucky, it wont be faded.

i need to find mine...the one inside the door panel is rubbed down and faded too much to tell...where are all the paint codes at? just the door and the engine bay?

you can also call mitsubishi and give them your VIN and they will give you your paint code

That's what I did. Black is X13. That's when I also found out my vin plate was missing when the body shop replaced it after my car was broken into and vandalized.
