a pillar dual pod setup question

i bouught one a dual guage pod for my a pillar, it is the smaller type, not the one that replaced the entire a pillar plastic moulding. my question is.. how do you guys get your wires through the guage pod? did you drill a hole into your original a pillar plastic? or did you put a hole through your guage pod? also, is your pod help up by 3m mounting tape? screw? and if you have some pics to share of your setup, that'll be awesome. thanks guys!

I just got one. Cut a hole in the A-pillar for the wires to run through. As for mounting it, I wouldn't use 3m tape. I used those plastic punch thingers (I can't remember what there called) then fiberglassed it to make it look like one piece. It looked really good before I fiberglassed it though, so you don't have to fiberglass it it you don't want to. Sorry, no pics yet.

Just drill a hole through the apillar behind where the pod is going to be. Another thought for you is what I did with my old 95 Talon. I bondoed the apillar pod to the plastic apillar cover so it looks better then painted it. It turned out real nice.
