I was wondering where and how much the center tail light replacement is, not the actual stock plastic center light, but the metal panel as shown in the picture. Thanksss

uhm i heard of just buying a sticker that matches your car

You could buy stickers, they do have them, but to REALLY match your car...... No. Some could be close, like red, black, white. But some would be pretty hard. i.e. mine, the grey magenta pearl.

im pretty sure if you go to a store that does like window banners, and stickers and all that crap they can match the color

well your car had a paint code for a reason. I only paid $50 for mine. Thats was to prep and paint it. I don't think that is a bad price to match perfectly and look good.

I personally wanted to paint it. that was my preference. I think the paint looks a lot better.

here is mine

I simply peeled off the eclipse letters, did some very light sanding and cleaning to make sure it was smooth and dirt free. Then went to autozone and bought a can a black enamel in a spray car. Many light coats will get a good look and shine.

The only bad thing about a sticker, would be the fact that vinyl stickers only come in preset colors. So if you have a off color, it would be really hard to match your paint. That and vinyl fades different than paint, so after time, it won't match at all.

anyone have pics of this done to a 1g??? i was wondering if anyone has painted all the useless lense pieces on the 1g taillight assembly.
thanks

actually i just finished my center tail light piece the about 2 days ago, i dont have pics though but i will tell you what i did, i took it out and took off the mitsubishi sticker across that little line in the middle, then i sanded it down and bondo'd the whole piece so it is 1 smooth piece without the stupid line through it then i sanded it smooth and primed it u cant even tell the line was ever there
