Components up front, where to mount tweeters and crossover?

Hello,
I'm putting a pair of 6.5" components up front and am struggling to find a spot to mount the tweeters. I did a search but didn't find a lot of useful information... Has anybody mounted a tweeter on the speaker grills up front? They seem sturdy enough to support the tweeter, plus it would mount the tweeter close to the mid-range which I've heard is good. Any opinions on that as a mounting spot?

Also, I can't figure out where to put my crossovers. They're pretty big (from a Diamond M561 set) and there isn't much space behind the door panel.

any help is appreciated,
thanks, Scott

I mounted my tweeters in the dash location. I took the speaker out ripped the inside apart, took the magnet off and just used the bracket and mounted the tweeter to it with some of the accesories that came with the components. I mounted the crossover inside the door, took alot of work and alot of messing with the window to make sure it wasnt gonna hit it. Then i ran the speaker wires for the tweeter up through the door into the dash board, that was probably the biggest ##### out of the whole thing.
