so is that where I plug in my door speakers? does it matter which one is positive or negative? Then i took off my driver side door panel and saw the previous owner cut that connecter so there is just two wires, can I just crimp the wire from the speaker to the cut wires? Here is a pic of the cut one

show pictures of the speakers ans where you disconnected from. That would give more support. Im sure the speakers don"t have a harness. That looks to me like the harness to the power windows and locks.

Id just turn on your stereo and touch a speaker to the two wires and see if anything happens.

i have no clue. You usually have only 2 wires. 1 for power and one for ground. I wouldn't know where to start with all of those. Maybe the person that had the car before you ripped them out.

I had a similar issue with my car, the wiring was a mess and the previous owner had his stereo stolen out of the car to make matters worse.

I ended up running wires for the door and rear speakers.

cut the harness, white is positive, black is negative.

if you really feel like keeping that stock speaker harness, then get the proper male wire connectors to insert to it, but i never would go back to stock, even the cheapest aftermarket ones sound better, so I just cut it and put the more standard connector.

when I first got my car, the wiring harnes for the stereo was a mess too. the first thing you wanna do is get a stereo wiring diagram for your car ( looks like someone already did that for you) then get one for your stereo or head unit and match the wires up. thats what I did at least. I know its intimidating to see all those wires but just go one at a time.

let me hold your hand and walk you through it..

dood seriously its in the link was given to you, that you quote.

but if thats not enough..

negative is all black for both sides L and R, and positive is black with white strips also for both sides L and R, and this is for Mitsubishi Eclipse or Eagle Talons RS, GS, GST, GSX, ES, ESi, TSi, TSi AWD, from 95-99. from both USDM and JDM, and even those in the UK, for both manual or automatic transmissions, and either with or without the Infinity premium sound upgrade. I don't know what else.. :beatentodeath:

good luck. :thumb:

Like redturboeclipse says he right. You can connect blade connectors to the ends of the Stock wiring and attach it to the aftermarket speakers.

My stereo was a mess when i got my car too man, There was no head unit, The speakers were connected with the wrong kind of wire. wiring up the stereo was a mess, i still don't think i have it wired up right but all my speakers are working so i'm not messing with it haha.:D
Good luck with yours man.
