After failing over and over and over and over again with fiberglass, I decided to give that up. No matter what I put it on it would peel off. So I got a dual pillar gauge pod and another gauge pod that just screws onto the factory pillar, some bondo body filler and went to town.
Here are some pics I took the other night. I sanded it some more but don't have updated pics yet. So far I think it looks pretty good, but will still need wayyyyy more sanding.

Another thing I figured I would try is to make a fog light cover. I put a layer of fiberglass over the front, then filled up some fiberglass in the back hole and it soaked through and stuck to all the paper I had on my workbench. So started sanding and sanding, then did some bondo over it, smoothed it out. I put a coat of paint on it to bring out the flaws. Sanded it some more, another coat of primer and it still has flaws. This is a pic after the 1st time sanding. I haven't decided if I'm going to just keep sanding it to make it smooth or order some carbon fiber sticker to lay over it. What do you guys think?

Those fog light covers look good, very nice work. Can't wait to see the finished product.

Yeah me either. I can't wait. It's just a LOT of sanding by hand. I will try to get some updated pics tomorrow, this way you can see the progress they are making.
I haven't decided yet, but I may put another layer on top of the fog cover to help smooth it all out.
