No need to hate cause someone loves their music.
you are an assistant stero manager? you know nothing about amps.. there are tons and tons of amps on the market that will run below 2 ohms.. my Fosgate bd1000 is rated at 2 and i bring it down to 1 ohm with no problem.. you don't work on commision do you?Originally posted by DARK STAR
i am ass. manager of a stereo store . not to mention most of there speaker the upper line anyway are like 1.5 ohms and what amp can you really run with that (none)
I guess everyone takes everything so seriously around here though...And i wouldnt listen to someone who responds in ebonics, its just stupidity from other member that make no sense
Ironically, I probably know more than you about sounds though...a bigger box gives you better sq? come onOriginally posted by DARK STAR
with a box that was tuned really low tho you could get some sq but you would need a pretty big box and i dont know if the original post was going for speed or what the last 2 posts were to answer the bd1000 eclipse..

please explain how u mean less control over the woofer? A damping factor of greater than around 65 or so is good enough. You wont notice a difference between that and one withOriginally posted by DARK STAR
amps that are that are stable to 1 ohm etc. have horrible damping factor so less controll of the woofer and especially in a ported box
