was just wondering if any one can double assure me about wiring this shift light. splice into ecu, power and ground.

I was told that you had to buy a shift modulator that taps into the ECU. I have my tach but now I'm told I have to spend another $80 on this thing. Is it bullshit or do you really need it?

What kind of tach did you get? Depending on the it will be cheap or expensive.

PS you can get the shift light with the modules for less than 80.00.

if u guys r just lookin to get a shift light, proform makes a sweet one that has a built in module that u can adjust in the back. made really well. does any one know what wire i have to splice into from the ecu

Yep, Proform that's the one I used.

Mines AC AutoTechnics, I've ordered them all the same brand and color so they match. But like I said I was told by another dude with an eclipse that the only way to hook up a tach is with this modulator.
