Hello to all of you. My question its simple, i came across some 18 inch rims but they came with 235/50/18 tires and i know they rub by the conrol arm front and back so my question is can i make fit with spacers or something or i have to change the tires lets say for 225/40/18 thank u guys and sorry for my grammar i never went to school in the us.

Depends on the offset of the rims, your alignment, and whether you are lowered or not. Your speedometer will also be off. You might as well get the right size the first time around.

well i don't know the offset, im not lowered, im just thinking on waiting a little longer and just get four new tires 225/40/18 the only thing the bothers me is the fact the this tires r almost new but anyway thanks for the help.

offset if im not mistaken should be stamped on the inside of the wheel :)

but i ran 235/45/18 tires on my 18x8 hp evo back in the day on a 2G no issues at all since i wasnt lowered at the time.

well i just check i don'see the offset only numbers i saw were the following ones 18/7 1/2 JJ, 690kg, RSL20, and thats it, i just got these wheels ### they were mad cheap 150 with the tires im just trying to make them fit. I just took a couple of pics.

they rub the part the connects to the upper control arm, thats why i aks if i can make it work with spacers or have to change the tires, i forgot to tell you guys one of the rims have a 225/40/18 and that one fits perfect.

So

1 tire is 225/40/18 and the other 3 tires are 235/50/18?

i would just get new tires 225/40/18s then if i was you and you could always sell the 235/50/18 tires :)

bro its weird he had 2 rims with the 225s one tire its good and the other two rims have the 235s and he also gave me 2 235 almost new, he said when he have them in its car they were rubbin in the front so he change the front for 225s but in my car the 235s rub front and back and cause its awd i know all the tires have to be the same size.
