Im in the process of buying a gauge pod and gauges to go with it. One of them will be a boost gauge. What else can I put to occupy the other 2 spots? What brand of gauges do you use and how accurate are they?

wide shot

carbontrix 3 guage pod from rre, 3 autometer 2 5/8" guages (these things are like wall clocks if you're used to the small 2 1/16 guages)

Red buttons are the stock SPA technique gauge switch buttons to switch to peak settings and back. It is also used during the setup menus to select different parameters. I don't think you can see it but behind the red button is a black momentary switch that I installed inline as well. The one thing that really bugged me about the ver1 of these gauges (the ones I have vs the ones being sold now) was that you needed to cut power to them to get into the setup menus. To do that, you needed to shut the car down because it was supposed to be hardwired into a power igntion on lead. Miraculously, after I #####ed, the version 2 gauges don't need that. Coincidence? probably. :)

i have no clue what kind of pillar it is. came with the car. no doublesided tape just snaps right in. i like it alot. only pic i have sorry.

on another note.. since i'm doin my turbo kit now.. i was told that i should go with greddy or defi gauges.. and that autometer wasnt that acurate (at least on egt)..but they are cheap which is y everyone gets them. Now i'm not saying anything bout them since i have no experience.. but maybe some of you all can enlighten me on what you have and if you have noticed a diff. between what you have and the other brands as far as accuracy.. functions..etc.. =)

For EGT, get a digital, much more accurate and fast responding. Check out this website: http://speedshop.org/store/Scripts/prodView.asp?idproduct=32

This is what I plan on getting in red, wish they had blue:cry:

I like that digital EGT idea (not having to drive a needle), but only in Celsius degrees? C'mon, toss a convertor circuit in there so us knuckle- dragging mouth-breathers can figure out if it's hot without having to look it up on a reference card.

I have the Greddy EGT and Boost Gauge.

I had to modify the A Piller pod to make them fit but it looks clean.

Celcius is more accurate because it has smaller Incriments in degrees. Most of the highend guages use Celcius. There are many members on here that do also, so all you would have to do is ask what max temp you should run.

I love indiglo gauges and went with the AC Auto Technics Gauges Faces, Shift Tach, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, and Turbo Boost Gauges. They look bad ass at night and are well lit. Thats my setup the pillar gauges and then the gauge faces.
