PIAA windshield wipers?

Anyone used them? I need to purchase new ones now because the ones that are on the car presently just plain suck! I want something comparable to Rain-X. And being that the PIAA wipers are silicone based they leave a layer of silicone to repell the water. Anyone have suggestions or a preference for wipers that would do the same?

Also looking for the enitre bracket, not just the wiper refills. Car has 2 different brackets.

No but I have the Tenzo wipers and they rule.

Where I live wipers need to be replaced every 6 months due to seasonal changes in weather. I have tried the silicone based wipers and the regulars, and havent seen any difference.

Do you really like them? I have them also. I have had them about 8 months I guess and they are rusting like crazy. How long you had yours?

I have CF piaa wipers on my SUV. They are the best wipers I have ever used. I used bosch before but these are far superior. I definitely recommend them.

There rusting? that's odd. I have has mine for at least 6months already and they are fine. Mine are the black ones.

Yeah mine are too, it's terrible too. One is good, the other is rusting like mad.

I mean here in AZ we don't ever get snow and very rarely get rain so that could have something to do with it.

or john can just remove one of the blades and do the one wiper mod and really be pimpin.:laugh:


I think I'll try the PIAAs out to see how well they hold up in the rain. Hopefully it will be worth it. Otherwise back to Rain-X I go.

One "Euro" wiper mod coming up.

use Rain-X on the windows and use the Piaa silicone wipers. This will make the rain blow off with your cars speed and areodynamics. Works perfect for me.
