I know its been discussed alot, but not to many threads where anythings actually been done so I figured what the hell I would give it a go...Im pretty good with shit like this.
Heres a quick over view. I used construction paper to construct the overall layout of the shape and then modified it to where Im at now. The pictures are self-explanitory.
Also I just want to say this is not the one that will end up on the car, this is my DD and if I were to purchase rims and tires to actually fill the flare you see below.$$$$$..you get the idea. Another reason is because if you look at the last few pics you see how far I had to drop down the lip on the outside to get it to sit over the wheel to LOOK lowerd. I think it kindof looks stupid like that.... So I have started a new, more low-key flare that in my opinion looks way better flows well with the cars lines and best of all when Im done the car will have the illusion of being dropped (wheel gap wise) with out actually having to purchase the suspension or scrape everydamn bump and I wont have that ugly 4 inch verticle wall on the out side of the car. Ill post pics of the new one once I hit the welded steel stage, for now its under wraps.
Like I said this is my all looks DD ( not even an intake going on this car ) so Im just going to make it look damn good.
The car is going to be Black with a green pearl in the CC if anyone cars.
Heres the pics, remember its a work in progress this is no where near final anything..its almost ugly with that 4 inch lip on..anyway take a look
