keying your own car

i have heard alot of people that have had their car keyed by someone get another paint job through their insurence.so if you want a new paint job but in the same color couldnt you just key your own car and say someone in a parking lot did it because how would anyone know?not saying im going too just wondering

I know 3 people who have done that. When they ask me when I'm going to paint my car, that it should be done by now, I get a little bit mad! I'm working and saving to pay for a paint job, I'm not taking the easy way out.....

Yes people do it all the time. Yes it's dishonest. Now take a look at the fortune 500 in America or even just the Fortune 100 for that matter......and you want me to believe that what I pay for insurance each year is HONEST?!
