Need some help, for the life of me I cant get my dam ballasts to ignite my bulbs.
I'm using some bosch ballasts and philips bulbs using this write up.

What I dont get is the part where he says be sure not to wire into the headlight harness or nothing will happen. Well thats what i'm done but according to his wireing diagram it looks like it should be.

If i'm not suppost to wire into the headlight harness connect plugs where do I wire the power and ground for the light turn on then?

So where it says positive and negative at the bottom I have that going to my headlight harness plug pigtail thing.

If its not suppose to go there where do I wire these.

My first guess is that you have the diode in the relay circuit reversed so no current will flow. Just take the diode out and see if it works. I believe his comment about wiring to the headlight harness is that at first he acidentally wired to the plug on the bottom of the headlight housing instead of the plug that leads back to the fusebox for power.

You don't actually need all that extra wire harness and relay stuff. The 95-99 Eclipses and Talons came with a nice 30A relay built into the system right behind the left headlamp in the fusebox. Adding another whole external system that duplicates the OEM wiring is just a lot of work for little gain. I have had my HIDs used as daytime running lamps for over 3 years and the factory wiring handles the load just fine. Their are certainly other makes and models of cars that need to have a custom harness built but the 2G Eclipse is not one of them. Make solid conections and keep the water out and you will be fine.

Now this is weird, I went to the headlight harness and spliced in before it branches off for the left and right side.
Tried it out but still no lights.

Then I added a h1 bulb to the drivers side headlight plug and bam the ballasts fire up???

Maybe not, you must have an open in the circuit if it requires a connection across the headlamp low beam socket to fire off the ballast. Are you sure you are tapping into the correct wires?
 
well got em to light, big pain, but like I said, I had to add a bulb to complete the circuit I guess.
Weird O well, now the fun part aim-ing them.
