Here is a before and after pic of my car, had to make some changes for the fmic to work efficiently! Discuss what you think. There is a patent pending on this design, no one is permitted to copy this!

I think it looks better, but I think it would look even better if you cut out the whole thing. But like I said it definatly looks better!

For those who say I should remove the entire piece. Have you ever seen the entire piece removed? If I were to remove the entire section there would be a huge hole on the top right and left of that opening. I have seen it done on some others cars and I wanted to have something different!

Cucumber: I was not making it out to be something special. Just wanted to share something different with the others on this board, rather than everyone be the same. So much for the friendly moderator, oops...thats the other John!

Matt: I used a razor blade to cut the grooves out individually and then I decided that I would like one opening rather than two. So I proceeded to cut the strip in the middle off, leaving one larger opening. The pic does not do it any justice. You can see the intercooler through the opening and it is functional. After cutting the bumper cover with the razor blade I used a Rasp (similar to a cheese grader) to shave the cover down and smooth the high and rough spots!

HyperGSX: The lip was broken, I have a replacement though for after the winter!

What did you do with the foam stuff behind the bumper? Did you have to take the bumper off the car to do it? Thanks -Kenny

No foam there. Just the main bumper!

Well damn i have already cut it out like that....I was bored and i liked how that looks instead of the whole thing taken out...But my car will not be running for like a month or so...but yeah it looks better that way then all of it gone....
