How to ship a body kit?

What is the cheapest way to ship a body kit to another residence.Please give the sites that will ship this.I need to ship my kit to someone.

whichever one u use, make sure to insure it cuz i just received my body kit and it was damaged through the shipping, so just make sure to insure it whenever u send it

all i got was a rear bumper and i think that was around 20 lbs. i got it sent through airborne express, but i wouldnt really recommend them since what just happened. i paid about 50 for it to be shipped and then 20 to be insured.

Take it to your local post office and they can give you quite a few shipping options; insurance, tracking, and you can get it there in a few days

i tried doing that, the post office wont do it cause it wont fit on a mail truck

Most body kits have to be shipped freight. Look in your phone book to find the local trucking company. Post office won't touch it. UPS will do it, but they charge a lot more for big packages. And FedEx won't touch it either. Airborne sucks, we tried shipping through them but they are unreliable as hell.

This is also an option. Greyhound bus lines ships too. They're really cheap. I'm not sure how it works, but I know some people that ship hoods/body kits through them and it saves a lot of money. They just put it right on the bus.

Post office wont take it, UPS wont take it, Fedex i beleive wont take it.
Like everyone said, a freight company or also Greyhound will ship it.

They kind of are, but they're more packages. Freight companies usually ship big items, and that's all they do so it's cheaper to ship big items through them. As I said earlier, UPS will do body kits, but it's really expensive. I got a quote through them once and it was insane because it's huge. They have size limiations, and they penalize you when you go over and the body kit goes over.

Greyhound is the cheapest way to ship a large freight item like a bodykit. Cheap and it gets there in less then a week most of the time. I had a kit shipped from Washington state to Florida and it was cheap and got to me like like 4 days. Try it

I've always used Greyhound Buslines for large body parts. You will have to take it to your local Greyhound station and the buyer will have to pick it up at theirs, but it's cheap & quick. I paid about $30 to ship a rear bumper and it was delievered in about 3 days. They can insure your package as well.

Greyhound is the way to go...$50 to ship a bumper.
