-Car is 96 Eclipse Spyder GS-T, fenders will be rolled.
-Suspension will be K-sport full coilover, lowered 1-2".
-Wheel is ADR M-Classic, 20" x 8.5", offset is +40 or +35 (they come in both offsets).
-Tires will be 225 / 30 / 20 (diameter 25.4") or 225 / 35 / 20 (diameter 26.2").

I searched and have not seen anyone using 20" wheels in this width, i also have seen someone locally use 19" x 8.5" with +38 offset, i would assume with shorter sidewall tires a +40 may work, just want to verify. Thanks.

I personally would not go with a wheel that big on the eclipse... Few things to consider:

The extra rotational mass will hinder beaking performance dramatically.

The shortness of the sidewal will give you a harsh ride, and will put alot of stress on the wheels ( when hitting bump and potholes) which may be prone to bending.

Also, I have a feeling even with the Ksport CO you may have some alignment issues.

The wheels will also make your car less fuel efficanet and much slower exceleration wise.

Al these things should be considered IMO.

All very good points. I will be using the Evo brakes on all 4 corners. I am sure I will bend a wheel, that's OK. Nothing I haven't dealt with in the past. This vehicle will only be a weekend driver so tire wear isn't much of a concern. Also the fuel milage isn't a big deal my other car(s) get 10-18 mpg. OMG I simply would like to know, if they will fit.

225/30/20 (25.3 inches) on +40mm offset.

Thank you i appreciate the help without bias. :D nice wheels... are you also +40 offset? and what steering wheel are you using, with the tan rim?

Yes, mine are +40mm offset. I think the steering wheel you saw in an older photo was stock with a wheelskins cover, after I wore through the finish at 10 o'clock from years of palm steering.
