Question on Application of Aerogear Hood

I have a 99 GST Eclipse Spyder, I was thinking about buying the aerogear predator hood, now the site I was going to order it from didnt say anything about this, but I heard from someone that that hood does not fit on the turbo model, is this true or not?

yes it is true, if ur car is turbo then u cant use the predator hood, i think it doesnt fit b/c of the cam gears

It will fit if you take the shroud off the cam gears.

IT WILL FIT!!!!!!! i seen it. you have to trim an underside support to do it, but it works, someone has one on a gst on here

trimming a support works with a lot of hoods on these cars. the only way to get a 4g63 into a mirage is to cut out the support above the cam gears.

what work is needed to make one fit i dont understand what triming the under support means like the metal bars going accross the under side of the hood?

You got it...yeah know it's kinda funny how a lot of people say that the buldge on the 2g hood is purly cosmetic but yet a flat hood doesn't fit...HMMMM
