Could someone explain those? From the looks, it has a motorized cutoff plate, that when you power the actuator the cutoff plate moves out of the way? If so, how well does that work?

I don't think I've ever seen people use them for a retrofit in an Eclipse. Those are a high/low beam all in one projector. Since we have separate high and low beams, this light wouldn't be ideal. I've heard of people using Hella and TSX projectors.

No! They aren't home made. They are real. And I was right. I found a video.

Yes I know, I've done a retrofit before, with BMW Projectors in my black car. I'm looking for doing a wicked crazy retrofit. Something high tech. I was hopeing to retrofit some auto leveling Projectors... but its looking to be very difficult, too much work then I'm willing to spend. I don't know how the light wouldn't be ideal? I'm confused... I'm thinking about doing something like this, and ditching the seperate high beam all together for something else. Still working on the idea tho.

Well see I want them to be crazy. I'm not going to buy aftermarket headlights and do a retrofit... I wanna do them in my stock headlights... And I wanna add some very small steel braided lines to them for looks. Make them look like guns or something ... Call me a ricer or not, I don't care. I think it would look hella hot. Hella Hot!

From the looks of a few others, its only 2 Wires... Black and Red... Must be Ground and Positive... I could just possibly wire them into the high beam wires... that way it works like its stock. No aditional wires, or switches or anything.

Plus, it would also take less power if you think about it... When you flip the high beams on... no heafty way powerful 12v, 65w bulb lights up... just a low power actuator switching a small metal wall out of the way... You wont ever see a dim in your power system, for people with weak batteries or alternators ...

Both. I'm heavy into looks, but dont want to stray too far away from stock. I'll never throw a body kit on my car (looks into the future and sees my car with a body kit... jp). I have this infinity for lights... LED's are my best friends... I've built LED Tails out of Smoked G2 Altezza's... Just to put the nice, into the Rice.

If I did them, they would be fully functional... And I'm finding things to make them look oem... like the screen and some plastic bezels that go over them from like Infiniti's and mercedes...

That would be an interesting project to follow and see what all you do to create those. Right now, I'd love to do an HID retrofit but right now I am stuck on go fast parts

But if you have a vision and the desire, I say go for it. It'd definitely be very unique (which is something that doesn't happen a lot with these cars)!
