Ok so I changed the stock tail lights on my 95 GST to after market projector ones from ebay. Before I changed them the stock ones lined up perfect, they were straight. Now after I changed them to the after market ones, they aren't straight, they are a little off where they meet the middle piece(I changed that too, it all came together as a kit). Is that normal because they are after market??
P.S. On the listing it said they would fit my car (95-99 eclipse)
Also at some point in time my car had a salvaged title, the rear was redone and the title is clean now. Could it be that it wasnt lined up perfectly??(im not sure since the stock lights lined up fine):dsm:

Its an EBAY product, The molds are not perfect. If the stock taillight fit fine there is no problem with that part of the rear. Thats the best they get.

To get the aftermarket lights to fit good you may have to use trial and error to notch the holes that are mis-aligning the tail lights.

Projector Tail Lights?

My ebay smoked tails fit great... but you could tell that they weren't a perfect mold... like you know the peice where the hatch is... it rubbed hard, I had to manipulate it a little to get installed properly cause even some of the bolts didn't line up exactly perfect... but once installed, you couldn't really tell unless you looked for issues.

Oh ok, ill try to make them fit better. That is if I can tell where its messing up, if not then i'll leave it alone since its not really that bad, just annoying to me since I know its like that ... Thanks for the help !!:dsm:

The tail lights are usually built pretty good on strength... but the mold is just a tad off... so make sure you get all the bolts in the holes, screw the nuts on and tighten it up and tighten it up until its right... but if it feels too stiff, leave it be!

I'm still wondering what Projector Tail Lights are?

I always wanted to custom build some tail lights using Projector housings... but it will just cost too much I think
