I was just wondering how you think center exit exhaust would look on a 94 eclipse?I have a 91 laser parts car and was thinking of moving the license plate from stock location to the center panel from the talon and putting that on the eclipse. Then placing the exhaust where the plate was previously located.

I think it'd be pretty hard to get it there, with the gas tank in the way. It'd also be kinda pointless, given that the piping would have to come back up, adding another bend or two to the exhaust, reducing potential flow. Kinda like the (very few) dual muffler exhaust guys... reduced overall flow through increased exhaust gas turbulence.

Here is a picture of what I was thinking

...that is without the other muffler I forgot to remove :)

I think it would look really stupid. Ive seen ricer cavaliers with this done and it makes me want to puke.

Have you looked under your car, there is no room, it would be very hard to fit a muffler up high enough to come out inside of the center. Maybe you could let it come the bottom maybe, be like Nick said, it would be really ricey and ridiculous, but if that is your style don't let us hold us back!!!

That's pretty weird, having three exhausts. Which cylinder isn't being allowed to breathe?

Perhaps some nice stacks.

Ok so this isnt a popular idea. Getting it there really isnt that hard with the spare tire area cut out. It was rotted and needed to be fixed so it was being cut out and fixed. But with it out I thought of moving the muffler there so I didnt have the muffler hanging down. So I get it no center exhaust.

Its possible, and its up to you. Before you go trying to place a muffler back there look into placing a muffler behind the cat. Not a resonator but an actual muffler and running pipes back from there. You can add stubby resonators if that is too loud later. There should be plenty of room behind the cat for a narrow oval muffler center inlet to center outlet.
