Need help with some inteior things

Hey

I just picked up a 99 GS and it needs a few things.

1)Driver's side power lock closes VERY slowly. I can hold down the button and it will almost lock/ unlock all the way but I still need to use the key. ( I assume this is a bad motor?)

2)The antenna is up and won't go down when the car is off. I don't know much about these mechanical antennas as my other car didnt have one, but is the antenna supposed to go up and down when the stereo is turned on/ off? Or just when the car is turned on/off. ( I am assuming it needs a new motor or something if it is supposed to go with the car correct?) I don't currently have a radio in the car so I wasnt sure if that was the issue.

3) I need to know the part number for this because it is missing from the car.

4) I think there is supposed to be a "deck lid/ cargo shelf" in the hatch area?

Does anyone know of a good site other then ebay that would sell this stuff. None of the JY's around me have any eclipses in them. Or does anyone have any ideas how the fix the lock or antenna??

theres nothing wrong with eBay but you can check our Classifieds once you gain access there is also DSM Trader but dont buy them from mitsubishi you'll pay a sh*tload

I don't have a problem with ebay, its just that when ebay doesnt have them i was wondering if there was somewhere else to look. Thanks

Huh.. How I would ever notice something like this, who knows. That is a picture of my car, from my gallery.

1) For the door lock, remove the door panel and check that the linkage from solenoid to the lock is not bent and affixed correctly. Check for good power to the solenoid.

2) For the power antenna, it should go up when the radio is on, and down when it is switched off. Check that the antenna's motor wire is attached to the remote line of the head unit, and not to a constant +12v. If if is attached to a constant +12v, try unhooking it, the antenna should go down. If it does not, it is stuck or the motor or switch is bad.

3) For the part circled in the pic of my car, I can check when the sun comes up for the part number for you. You could find this at a junkyard, the various part-outs found here and on other forums, and eBay.

4) For the "deck lid/cargo shelf", it is called a Tonneau Cover, and could source one from the places mentioned above.

Ok, Ill have to give those things a try and hope they work. It probably is your car because i just looked in the " Cleanest interior" thread hoping for a pic of a 99 eclipse like mine and this was one in it . I know it isnt necessary to reply to every post, but if this forum is like the one i went to for my other car you need a certain # of posts to view the F/S section.

On the antenna, make sure it's actually a power unit. Some people will replace their stock 'whip' antenna with a manual telescoping unit. If not, make sure the power line to it is actually hooked up. Some antennas will not actuate at all if their sender line is entirely disconnected... had a similar problem with an old amp in the past.

Tonneau covers are for convertibles (and, now bastardized for pickup truck beds). You want a cargo cover, or rear hatch cover.
