San Diego,
 I've been trying to find a really good authentic picture of a JDM or European Eclipse.

I want to know the difference between the USDM Eclipse and the JDM Eclipse. If anyone has some pictures, can I see them? Are there any major differences? How hard is it to obtain the parts to make the USDM Eclipses look like the JDM one?

Your input would be so helpful!

The only difference between the US and the JDM/Euro ones are the mirrors and tail lights. The mirrors fold in, and the tail lights have amber turn signals. All DSMs were built in the US and imported over there. You can find the tail lights at www.machv.com They sell for around $500.

Do you know where I can get a hold of the folding mirrors and the sidemarkers for the fenders? Those tail lights are pretty pricey! But I love the amber look- it screams JDM! Is there any other places that sell them?

Damn if you want JDM go buy a Honda. The eclipse was built and manufactured in America and never sold in japan. So in reality there is no JDM eclipse just a Euro Eclipse.

I think your white visor is on too tight.

The D32A (Eclipse GST) was sold happily in Japan as an import, which was subject to a bunch of taxes as such, as most imported to Japan cars are. The D38A (The convertable GST) was quite popular as well, and there are more than a few grey-market GSX's over there.
