Does anyone have pictures of a 2GB with the "fogless" option? I've never seen these bezels before??? I was gonna ditch the fog lights and wanted to see what the delete bezels would look like :D

Yea, because I don't believe they were some kind of "option" from the factory. The ones you seen are all custom, unless I am wrong.

Some completely redo the bumper so its nice smooth and flushed. Some get some fancy carbon fiber--I'm sure purely for style, I highly doubt it is for weight saving in this situation, and others modify the stock foglight bezel (which is probably the same way the cf solution is done) by applying fiberglass/bondo to cover the hole, clean it up, sand, prime, paint.

I believe greyforestgst was the first I have seen done what I mentioned, very nice clean job.

EDIT: found it with a quick SEARCH:

search t he forums for...
"custom front bumper"
there is a thread about a guy who used 3m panel bonder and regular bondo to do this...

doesn't look to hard to do...just gotta make a template behind the foglight bezel so you can fill in the hole with bondo.

He mentioned you have to screw it from behind, which means having the car lifted so you can access the screw. Very inconvenient, but I'm sure you can just leave room for a hole in the front so you wouldn't have to do it.

Actually, don't mean to thread jack, but where can i find the fog light housings? i like the fog lights, so if your getting rid of them, let me know if you can get rid of the housing this way :)

I like the red car setup with the covers but i don't like the completely shaved look on the white car.

Ah yes, and here is another recent thread regarding fog light covers. The original poster never did tell us where he got these, or if he made them himself. Maybe you can coax him into talking.
