alright, here is the deal, being the sleep type that i am, only two gagues being visable is great for me.

now the question remains

i am tired of lifting my center console cover to change boost setings

my thinking is this {out of sheer bordem}

creating my own center section from the console forward to the radio.

plaster molding the console with all the holes covered {ash tray, coin tray and such} leaving the shifter area open. {wrapping the original console in masking tape to avoid gooey messes}

now, after the mold is all said and done, laying some fiber glass in the mold, making it thin enough to create a opening for some more gauges {angled up for easy viewing where the coin tray and such are now}
area for my EBC and an afc.

logical? goofy? hell yea! you suck?

im thinking it will work. thats just me though

Mines still my daily driver! I went from the A pillar mount to the center vent mount and then down to the stock stereo spot. You could also get an aftermarket stereo and use the empty spot for some gauges. But I like you idea of the new console. I was thinking of making one out of aluminum (for weight savings) but then decided it was too much work. I f yours works out let me know....i'd like to see some pictures of it!

it should be done in a couple weeks, i have some porting to do this weekend. but it will be a project for me. and it WILL look good, or i will not even finish it

sounds like a good idea. i alway wanted to get a custome console made and do away with everything but the shifter. then you could mount some stuff there or just have it looking clean. let me know how it works out for you.
