I've search but to to avail did I find. Anyhow, Anyone know where to get a good harness bar that is made for a 2G DSM that's not too expensive? The only one I found is from Mach V: http://machv.com/dgharnessbar.html
It looks nice but I was hoping on something a bit cheaper.

check out ebay for a c-pillar bar and use that to hook up your harness

I've seen some of those. I am looking more for a b-pillar bar like in the link I posted. Just hoping for something a bit cheaper.

the one on mach v is also the only place that ive seen them there and it is expensive to me also thats why i just got the c-pillar bar myself

speak to project2g he has a b pillar bar.....attached to his front seatbelt posts..looks just like a strut bar i dunno where he got it from maybe you should ask him..last time i checked he was sellign it for like 50 bucks or so and it was gunmetal.i bought a c pillar bar from ebay looks like a big lower tie rod. im not too pleased with the way it bolts on and i definetly think its just for show

DV/DT Fab makes a b-pillar harness bar.
I have personally tried the DG Industries bar in my car, and in fact I was the 2g to first test fit one. The one I tried would work with stock seats. But I believe my butterflies on my Sparcos kept hitting on the partthat mounts to the b-pillar.

I have a B and C pillar bar and I plan to use the B pillar bar as a harness bar. I have seen it done before.. Sparco was working on a harness bar for the eclipse so you should contact them and see if they ever came out with it or not.

Any updates on this subject. I'm looking for a B-Piller harness bar as well. I'm almost tempted to see if I can have one fabbed up, but I'd rather get a cleaner looking, professionaly made one.

Any ideas??

I'm also looking for one. I sent JNZ tuning a couple emails about it. They have made some but when they do, you have to remove the stock seat belts. I'm hoping they can make me one so I can keep the stock seat belts. I also sent an email to a company on ebay and I'm waiting to hear back from them. I'll let you guys know what happens

How much did they quote youi for one that doesnt use the stock seats.

so i have been interested in this topic for quite some time now and have been looking for an alternative to the DG bar.

i don't know exactly how to word this but if someone were to make one and sell it to dsm enthusiast, how would one get away with advertising it, and the legality behind selling a bar that could potentially cause death if malfunctioned...meaning if someone died from using the dg harness bar what would happen...

i say all of this because i am actually making a bar as we speak (slow and steady progress) that will be used mainly for a sliding camera mount, but could have provisions for harnesses if i wanted...

by no means am i trying to sell one as of now but the potential is definately there.

If you have a welder or have access to one, its really easy to make. Have maybe $30 in materials too.

i don't see this working for alot of people...definately an effective piece and no hate here, just most people including me have the back of my seat positioned further back then where the seatbelt is located, meaning dropping a harness bar directly below the seatbelt retractor wouldn't work because it would hit the seats...

anybody have any insight or advice to what i stated above?

I suppose you may be right for a car thats more of a daily driver. The corbeau seats I have do not recline at all so thats not an issue for me.

I just need one so when I go to the track I don't have to listen to the tech inspector tell me every time, "You should have a bar behind the seats if they aren't stock."

Easy fix... copy the design of the DB bar and put a couple bends in it so that the bar goes across further back.

Getting the bar shaped to how you need it shouldn't be the hard part. I think the hard part would be designing it to fit perfectly between the 2 (or 4) mount points. If I make my own, I'm going to design it with 2 lower support braces that mount to the lower seatbelt bolts down by the floor board. If I had my own welder, this would be pretty easy really.
