slr fenders?

I wrecked my car a little over a week ago and was looking for a new fender for it and ran across some SLR style fenders. Here is a link to the auction on ebay

What do you think they would look like on 1st gens?

I would say no. Looks a bit ricey. Stick with OEM.

fiberglass... So it's lighter than stock. Almost same weight as aluminum?

stock fenders barely weigh anything to begin with.

Years ago you used to be able to buy Z3 style fiberglass fenders for 1g. A car I bought once had them on, the owner had bought them from Andy's Autosport (I don't know if that site is even around any more but if it is, they might still have them)

They don't feel like they weigh much because the weight isn't all in one spot.

i've seen a 1g with them. In my opinion, they looked kinda cheesey.
