I'm trying to get a Hurst T-Handle Shift Knob, but I can't find any that will fit our cars. I know the threads on our shifters are 10mm x 1.25, but I can only find 10mm x 1.50... If anyone has one, where did you get it ?

You probably won't find one. So, you buy one of these at the same time. It's just aluminum, and you won't be picking up the car with it.

Now correst me if im wrong, but wont you have to make the shifter threads bigger. So by using a tap that will only make the inner part of the shifter bigger. So now you will have like a 1.25 shifter still and now (after using that tap) the hurst will be 1.75. so some how you have to make the shifter threads bigger. Or get a 1.00 and tap to 1.25. Iv seen 1.00 on hondas(sorry to say:barf: ) So im sure they have them.

1.0 or 1.25 refers to the thread pitch not the size. as long as they are both 12mm you can rethread it to work.

10mm is the diameter. 1.25 and 1.50 are the distance from one thread to the next (such as from the root of one to the root of the next, or the peaks).
Running a different-pitch thread into the shifter handle will muck up the previous threads some, but not to the point that you'll be able to rip it free from the shifter stalk with your brawny, he-man grip.

I'm actually thinking of picking up a Hurst... used to have one in my old Toyota pickup. Say what you like, they're DAMN comfy, and won't bite into your hand like some of the ricier 'togei supa-dorifuto JDM tyte' knobs many fad-kids seem drawn toward. Just make sure you put a piece of rubber tubing or something over the remaining threads below the handle... they can really get annoying over time, digging into the sides of your middle and ring fingers.
