cigarette lighter does not work

my cigarette lighter does not work there for i cant use the neon i just bought for the interior what could this be and how can i fix it detail instructions please

I do NOT condone Neon at all. I think they're bad for yous and my own health. They also keep the too fast too furious dream ALIVE when if anything it should be massacred like a Midwestern Indian tribe.
ANYWAYS,

Pop up the corrogated plasic piece at the base of the radio bezel and the top of the shifter cosole. Unscrew the three screws and take the coin tray out and unscrew that screw.

Please please please do NOT put neon in on or around your car. But as far as your cigarette lighter not working you have checked the fuse right?

Remove your drivers side kick panel, and look at the back of the cigarette lighter...Make sure all of the wires are still connected... If they are, unscrew the lighter from behind and check for any obvious problems...

Well...not necessarily... When my lighter wasn't working the fuse was just fine, but there was a connection problem in the lighter...
