I was working on my car changing the timing belt. Everything worked fine, turn signals and all. After I got done, I got into my car and turned the key ignition on. I noticed even before I started the car that my turn signal was blinking really fast and I didn't even have the turn signal on at all. Meaning up or down for left or right signals. The only way to stop it from blinking was to take out the fuse below the dash!!! Has anyone experienced this problem and knows how to fix it???

Its just the left signal that stays blinking at all times even if the turn signal is not on!

Did you pinch the turn signal wires between something or under a bolt when you put things back together? I did that by accident once. Seems to me that would just pop the fuse if it grounded out but I would check that.

I checked over everything that think it could be but just no luck. Its not blowing fuses. The only thing that will get my turn signal to stop is just take out the fuse. Other wise the turn signal will just keep blinking at all times
