Ok guys I wrecked my 98 GST Spyder and the body shop has ordered a Seibon CF hood for it. I looked over all of the hood forums but can't seem to get a straight answer on these two.

The Seibon design has vented squares near the front that I assume lets the heat escape better. Will it cause any problems with water getting into the engine during a rain storm?

Also, i have seen some threads where the opinion is the hood won't fit snug because of the larger cam gear arrangement on the turbos. Is that correct and if so what can I do besides go back to the OEM style so that it looks nice?

Seibon hoods have good fitment so that won't be an issue.
As far as the vents go you should be fine. I have a vent right over my turbo (420a) so that's a little bit of an issue. (I'm currently n/a)
