Thats what i was thinking too man, even with this R.M.C. titanium coating. $ 3200 price tag aint cheap either , but they just might look good on a red/ black 2g eagle.
Thanks for the reply:thumb:

Well i just talked to a distributor, he says they are special order for 2- 3 months !!! Freaking crazy, but i have seen these on D 1 cars for drifting, they look nice.
What do you guys think a 17X 7 or 17X 8 ? sitting on 225 BF goodrich drag radials with a +40 offset :sneaky: :sneaky:

yeah definitely 17x8, if youre gonna pay might as well get the best wheels for your money.
that price is ridiculous for some 17's though. i'd understand if it was some rare width and offset but its jst the plain ol' 17x7 17x8 with a +40. just my .02 though

Thanks for your opinions guys! I really think they are worth it, im thinking of getting them .

Keep in mind they're heavier than other Gram Light wheels of that size/design, for the simple fact the "burned" lip is an overlay. While the wheel itself is a forged and polished metal [aluminum? magnesium?], the trim-ring is brazed 304-stainless steel. To the best of my knowledge, it's not plausible with aluminum wheels, only steel or titanium [is there such a thing as titanium wheels? JDM yo.].

They look good, the lip is sweet. Definitely go for 17x8, I have rota's with bfg's and they hook great.

$3200! Add some tires and it will cost more than my other 2g gsx that I bought as a beater ($3500)

But if you got the money and thats what you want, go with your instinct. If your letting other people pick what rims should be on YOUR car, or your havnt 2nd thoughts, well the answer is definitely obvious already. That is my advice when picking wheels, because in the dsm world, where stock body is very common, sometimes only wheels is what sets us apart. And with that $3200 price tag, and the trend of where DSMers spend their money on first, if you do go with those wheels, you will be rare, or maybe DSMtuners member Flash will get it if you seen his recent purchase, already having real expensive wheels to going to another set of real expensive wheels LOL jk homie.

I have mild modificaions on the car, and with that money, i could take the car into the 11's I needed some sticky tires, and thought i might as well treat myself to some rims. I just have to save some more, and maybe another 800 for a 50 trim setup.

MSRP on the wheels is $990 each for the 57 pro 17x8 with that 'neo-chrome' lip.
It all depends on what you want. Wheels are definitely cool, and they can make people remember your car. With me, the type of wheels you have is a reflection on the overall quality of your car. If you have a sick engine why cut corners else where?
I have had 4 sets of wheels in the past 3 years I have owned my car. Buy a set you like, and a set you can live with. Because wheels should be bought for the long term, from what I learned through my personal experience. Where a little extra money may be spent on the better wheels, it is saved in the long-term. I learned that through my first hand experience. Though at the time I did not have the income to be able to afford expensive wheels.

'nuff said :thumb: Thank you, its midnight, and i could not put a good paragraph like you. The wheels will be the only appearence high price mod i will do, DSM's look damn good stock. Do it once and forget about it.....eh for a while :p By the way flash , your car looks nice bro :thumb:
